The total length of Bhopal-Sanchi on NH-86Ext Section BOT Project is 56 K.M. The Government of India has taken up an ambitious programme of widening the existing two lanes of the National Highways falling along the alignment of the four /six lanes. As part of this programme, four laning of National Highway-86  between Bhopal-Sanchi. A portion of NH-86 which passes through  MP. The National Highways Authority of India with possible funding from BOT Basis and  decided to improve this section of National Highway to International standards and thereafter operate and maintain the highway under a suitable concession agreement.
