Preparation of Detail Project Report for Up-gradation on Ahmedabad – Mumbai Section from Km 91/5 to 263/0 on NH-8 .
The total length of this Ahmedabad – Mumbai Section BOT Project is 172 K.M. and approximate project construction cost is Rs.350 crores.
The Government of India has taken up an ambitious programme of widening the existing two lanes of the National Highways falling along the alignment of the Golden Quadrilateral connecting this four /six lanes. As part of this programme, four laning of National Highway-8 between Delhi and Mumbai and connecting important cities like Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Vadodara and Surat has already been completed in different sections. A portion of NH-8 which passes through Gujarat (between Km 91/5 and Km.263/0) has already been four laned. The National Highways Authority of India with possible funding from the World Bank has decided to improve this section of National Highway to International standards and thereafter operate and maintain the highway under a suitable concession agreement.
Detail of Bridges:
There are total 4 Major bridges (Including Bridge on River Narmada Total length 723m. and River Tapi Total Length 356m.), 31 Minor Bridges and 6 Flyovers were proposed and designed on the project Road
The project comprises of preparing the detailed project report (DPR) on 172 Km., with most modern Design technique. The work has been taken up and most of Survey work has already been completed. Our team completed all Designing, study the Economic and financial analysis of the project. We are also developing Concessionaire agreement and specification for the portion of maintenance phase. The progress is as per schedule and the project is likely to be completed within the time specified. |
